This is Rita.....who is visiting from Brisbane.......Rita is staying with her sister who is recovering from a knee operation...hi Louisa.....glad everything went well with your operation....

Here is Helen visiting us after she finished work.......always lovely to see her happy cheerful face, we don't see so much of Helen these days as her shifts have changed at work......nice that calls in to say hello still

Renarta has been working on this quilt for a little while also.......I love the fabrics in this quilt........it is a great piece to practice her freemotion machine quilting on......Renarta is doing a great job.........

So as you can see the ladies have been very busy.....our project for next month is making a bag and the front panel is embroidered using some those fancy stitched that our machines can do......looking forward to that class.....Until then

I thought I would show a couple of photos of my cushion cover.........I bought a pattern pack from Kimz to try out a Dresden Plate.......using some scraps......was pretty pleased with how that turned out and thought I would just do a little quilting around the plate..........so I outlined the plate a couple of times and then I decided I would do some little circles and it just grew and grew from there.....I had so much fun doing this and I really like it..........was going to give it away.......but now I think I will keep it to show at classes

It would be great to get some feedback on my piece......please drop me a line and let me know what you think......
hope you all have a great weekend.........happy stitching.........Cathy
